unlock screen saver takes forever if this extension is active

I am running Fedora 28, gnome 3.28 and version 56 of this awesome extension.

If I turn on, I take forever to unlock my screen after the screen gets locked.

I am running F28 and without issues about screen unlocking or incompatibilities with TaskBar. My version is from the extension website, as the git version I downloaded did not want to run on my system. For me problem also occurred on Manjaro Gnome with latest version(version 57).
