With TB and Gnome 3.32, a left/right setting for tabs, desktop, etc, results in TB going off screen and out of view.
User has to log out and log back in to see the effect of his change(s).
My circumvention has been to disable taskbar via "extensions" , make the left/right/enable/disable changes and then reenable TB.
This problem does not occur with earlier versions of Gnome.

I accidently pressed the wrong [button]. This problem is an issue with Gnome 3.32.
After each adjustment, TB crashes, but the adjustment is remembered.
For wayland, it's logout/login for xorg it's alt-R under Gnome 3.32
The issue is a problem that some action occurring immediately after a change is registered, crashes TB.
