Describe the bug

in a sandbox brand new vault, installed the plugin but it doesn't show anything on screen. I can go source mode and see frontmatter and the drawing string but thats all, the palette doesn't load and the welcome screen on the drawing doesn't appear, it's just a white page.

any ideas? works fine for any other device I own.

Steps to reproduce

create new excalidraw drawing

Expected behavior

showing the palette and able to edit the drawing

as a troubleshooting step I created an excalidraw file from another device and moved to this one with the problem and the behaviour is the same. is there a log to have more verbose info on what is happening?

probably the webview component on the tablet is an old one. Update android webview.

yes I am pretty sure that is, it ships with 83.0.4103.120, I installed 132.0.6834 but it doesn't let me change the provider. This tablet doesn't ship with Google Services or allow for Dev options, it's a really slimmed down AOSP rom that Lenovo built. Sad times.
