It would be awesome if this box was available on vagrant cloud!

It would take me a few days but yeah, I can try to upload this image.

Have a look at https://atlas.hashicorp.com/zyga/boxes/ubuntu-precise-desktop-i386
I'll upload trusty and vivid versions next. Ping me if you'd like amd64 images as well.

Hey, sorry but the download doesn't work for me. There's a couple of other people on Stack Overflow who have the same problem http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31355363/unable-to-download-box-an-error-occurred-while-downloading-the-remote-file .

If I try and download https://atlas.hashicorp.com/zyga/boxes/ubuntu-precise-desktop-i386/versions/1.0/providers/virtualbox.box manually the transfer stops at 0 bytes.

Let me know if you need any logs/info from my machine.

I'll check it out. I had some issues but I did manage to complete the download once. I'll try on another machine just for the sake of testing.

I just reproduced the issue. Weird, it was working earlier.

I'll upload the .box somewhere else then re-create it with an URL. This
might be more reliable.

I've re-uploaded the precise.box and I just test-provisioned it. For instructions see: https://atlas.hashicorp.com/zyga/boxes/ubuntu-precise-desktop-i386

So I guess this is "half" closed now ;-). I'll work on Trusty. I built a copy but I found that the screensaver settings were not applied which is extremely annoying when trying to use those images for anything. I'll work separately.

That's great, transfer's working fine for me now. Thanks.

I've been busy and I think I could use a hand with someone trying to see why trusty doesn't save screensaver settings (dconf and all) and see if there's something that would improve this. For the moment this blocks the trusty image.
