Issue: IR Loader Cabsim GUI not opening on VNC

Describe the issue

The IR loader Cabsim engine requires GUI to load IR files but nothing opens in VNC when this is added to a chain.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Add IR Loader Cabsim engine to a chain.
2. Look for GUI on VNC
3. Not there!

Expected behaviour

Adding the engine to a chain should open the GUI
