This repository contains demo metadata for various CollectionBuilder templates.

Hosted Demo Collections

These metadata spreadsheets contain items with URLs to files hosted at University of Idaho Library--this means you do not need any objects in your project repository! This makes it easy to use these examples to start up a sample project or experiment.

• "psychiana_cbdemo_csv.csv" is prepped to work with CollectionBuilder-CSV.
  • 67 items, mix of formats (image, pdf, audio, video)
  • place the demo csv in your project's "_data" folder, and configure the metadata value in your "_config.yml".
  • Items from the Psychiana Digital Collection
• "psychiana_cbdemo_gh.csv" is prepped to work with CollectionBuilder-GH or Sheets.

Note: CB-Sheets uses the "psychiana_cbdemo_gh.csv", "watkins_cbdemo_gh.csv", and "idaho_cities_cbdemo_urls.csv" files from this repository as demo options.

Workshop Demo Data

Intended for the context of workshops where demo data is necessary to go through steps of creating a collection, these packages contain metadata and objects, but may not be completely prepared and ready to go!

• Idaho Cities (images): cities-workshop.zip. Contains metadata and folder of objects (no derivatives). Items from Idaho Cities and Towns Collection.
• Northwest Historical Postcards (images and multiples): postcards-workshop.zip. Contains metadata and folder of objects (no derivatives). Items from Northwest Historical Postcards Collection.
• Watkins Mine Interiors (images): watkins.zip contains files and Google Sheet. Items from the Carleton Watkins Mine Interiors Collection.
• Psychiana (images, pdf, video, and audio): demo-objects.zip contains files and Google Sheet. Items from the Psychiana Digital Collection.
