bug pacman interface is broken

Description of issue:

pacmans do not stay/turn on or show heat but may or may not generate power anyway

Difference between expected and actual behavior:

pacmans should do both these things

Steps to reproduce:

try using a pacman

The pacmans are finicky on placement. Gotta be on a wire of course but a lot of times you gotta find a good spot or something, and see if it turns on then.
