Welcome to the iCopyProject-OSX wiki!

iCopy is meant to be a very simple project.

iCopy will take a string you have to write all the time, and make it only a click away. For instance, if when in the command console you have to type cd /var/www/html/public/myWebsite/thatWebsitesCode/index.html , That can get really old. This app will solve that issue, simply copy that above text, right click the status bar icon (The two documents) and past in the text and place enter. Now anytime you want to copy that text, left click the status bar icon and it will be in your clipboard.

Entering text you want to copy

  1. Right click status bar icon
  2. Enter the text you want to always be able to copy Ex) pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
  3. Press enter on the keyboard

1.Left click the status bar icon

TO MAKE CHANGES TO CODE

  1. Almost all code is in the AppDelegate
  2. NewTextWindowController.swift contains an outlet for the text field a) Not much to change here, just puts the value into UserDefaults when the user types.
