Welcome to the B2SHARE Development wiki!

User documentation has been copied from Confluence. In order to add/edit attachments and/or images to wiki, you need to clone it: git clone https://github.com/SimpleStore/simplestore.wiki.git.

B2SHARE Instances

We run three publicly available B2SHARE instances managed by the CSC deployment team (@Kallio and @llehtine):

  • b2share.eudat.eu
    • this is the real thing: The repository for general public. It is in full production, assigns real PIDs, only real records for real scientific data and publications should be submitted. not for testing with fake records. Running the latest stable revision (i.e. the latest closed Milestone).
  • trng-b2share.eudat.eu
    • this is our training repository: Running the same code as the production repository (i.e. a stable revision), but intended just for user training and evaluation. The database is not preserved long term. Don't submit real data here.
    • this is our developers' testing repository: We deploy new features here, complete and test releases before deployment. Running the latest HEAD from our Master branch.
