Makes the chemicals and traits found on xenobotany plants more interesting, including some chemicals botany has previously never had access to.
How This Contributes To The Skyrat Roleplay Experience
The xenobotany plants were underwhelming for how rare they are. This makes the fancy alien plants unique and valuable, something actually worth doing xenoarchaeology for. A number of the plants are useful to other departments to encourage inter-department cooperation.
