Welcome to the AMD Interactive Streaming SDK Wiki!

These Wiki pages provide a comprehensive guide on how to build low latency streaming applications using AMD Interactive Streaming SDK.

OS Support:

Server:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2019 or newer

Client:

  • Windows 10
  • Windows 11
  • Windows Server 2019 or newer

Hardware Requirements

Server:

An AMD GPU or APU supported by the current display driver. Currently this includes the "Navi" family discrete GPUs (RX-5000, RX-6000, RX-7000-series and newer) and Ryzen 5000-series APUs and newer. Older GPUs, such as Rx Vega and Polaris series (RX-470/480/580/590) might work with limited functionality. Please note that AMD does not test Streaming SDK on GPUs not supported by the current display drivers - use at your own risk.

Client:

  • Microsoft Windows: An AMD, NVidia or Intel GPU or APU with a hardware-accelerated video decoder, supporting at least one of the following video codecs: AVC/h.264, HEVC/h.265 or AV1.
