Pinterest for travelers!

Used for storing trip inspiration for individuals. Think of it as Pinterest for travelers. A user is able to search for restaurants, hotels, and events for a desired location. Users are able to save restaurants, hotels, and events that to a travel board.

Once you have forked the repo from https://github.com/HackBlocks/Voyage , install all the dependencies.
From within the root directory:
- npm install
- Create .env file (Follow steps below to set up .env file)
- npm run react-dev
- npm run server-dev
Inside the root folder, create a new file named ".env". Inside this file you will want to have to following:
export YELP_API_KEY="(paste key value here)"
We use Yelp's API to collect the data, so you will need an API key for Yelp to make requests. There are links below to create your own API key.
To run the app:
- run
sudo -s
to become a superuser on the terminal - load your .env file by running
source .env
- run
npm run react-dev
- run
npm run nodemon server/server.js
