The Intelligent Multi-Robot Coordination Lab at <a href="https://www.tu.berlin">TU Berlin</a>, led by <a href="https://whoenig.github.io">Wolfgang Hönig</a>, is a research group at the <a href="https://www.tu.berlin/en/eecs/institutions/institutes/institute-of-computer-engineering-and-microelectronics">Institute of Computer Engineering and Microelectronics</a>, <a href="https://www.tu.berlin/en/eecs/">EECS Faculty</a>, <a href="https://www.tu.berlin">TU Berlin</a>.</p>
<p>In our research we propose diverse artificial intelligence techniques that enable decision making in high-dimensional search spaces.
We are motivated by aerial robots, which need to coordinate safely and efficiently in congested environments.
Our goal is to develop the algorithmic foundation, both theoretical and practical, that will enable future robot swarms to autonomously conduct search-and-rescue missions, advance just-in-time manufacturing, and function as aerial robot delivery systems.
Our research is funded by the prestigious <a href="https://www.dfg.de/en/research_funding/ai-initiative/enp_projects/index.html">DFG Emmy-Noether Program in the Field of Artificial Intelligence Methods</a>.
