Hi Luci and Dan,
I did a little fork and added the files you need to run this on binder. You can check it out here:
https://mybinder.org/v2/gh/laderast/sql_workshop/master?filepath=sqlite_workshop.ipynb
If you want to run it from your own repo, just accept this pull request and you can go to http://mybinder.org and launch a binder from your repo. Make sure to include the link to your notebook as well.
Everything seems to work ok and this might simplify the workshop in the future.
