CID Updater

Access cid-updater

# Connect to the same network via LAN (diag port, or CID fakra port), or ssh into CID
nc cid 25956

# Or if nc is missing on the system
telnet cid 25956

Install

Must add port 80, and be on http, not ssl

nc cid 25956
install http://yoursite.com:80/yourimage.img

If it worked, you will receive message "file not served". This is correct.

Once this is done downloading, you should receive an update notification. To finish installing the update, run

nc cid 25956
gostaged

Now you can ssh to CID and watch the update run

ssh tesla1@cid
tail -f /var/log/syslog | grep "cid-updater"

# Or

ssh tesla1@cid
sudo su
nc cid 25956
watch

Redeploy

This command will clear any pending / staged update and install whatever version your car currently has (not staged version)
