Cloning should also take much longer if evil

Not sure if this is the best way to move it down.
Don't have time to test as of now, will most likely test tomorrow. Slowdown is equivalent to having one tier worse parts.
Now that I've tested it I found out what a difference of speed_coeff does.
Alright, Syndie Kate here, please make it so that it's emag only, or make EMP give them a separate, less murderous objective. Right now this could be an incredible vector for grief in the wrong hands. |
The reason I made EMPs able to do this, was so that it wouldn't make it traitor only, and so that it could be something that happens on accident, in the same way engies can accidentally delam the SM, or a scientist could leak plasma in toxins. The experimental cloner is supposed to be lacking in safeties. I'm not sure if clones are worse grief wise than stuff like bombs or sabotaging the engine. In my testing of the evil clones, security slaughtered them when they attempted to escape the zoo I put them in, because the clones had literally nothing to fight with. If I was a griefer I'd go for something more destructive than evil clones, EMPs aren't too common anyways. I've been thinking about giving evil clones a tell of some sort, to better inform crew that they are evil. Maybe red eyes like bloodcult gets. |
Dang I messed something up |
Gonna reopen with a non-messed up branch. |
About The Pull Request
When an experimental cloner is emagged or randomly when EMPed, it can become evil and produce clones with a randomized objective. These objectives vary in how destructive they are. A corrupted cloner has its objective randomized and will give all clones from it the same objective.
Emag will give the murder objective
If a cloner is evil, examining it will inform you it's evil.
A cloner that is evil will produce clones slower.
Evil clones have glowing red eyes, like blood cult has.
There is an event that will corrupt all present experimental cloners.
Why It's Good For The Game
Experimental cloners are supposed to be lacking safeties, this gives them an inherent danger. I also think the idea of a horde of "Bob Bobbys" swarming the station is funny.
Changelog
🆑
add: Experimental cloner can become corrupted due to emag, event or EMP, causing it to produce evil clones that have a randomized objective.
add: New geneticist traitor kit to start a clone army.
add: Experimental cloners and other cloning equipment can be printed from science. (So a geneticist with experimental cloner doesn't blare alarm bells when no one remembers cargo ordering a cloner crate.)
