As mentioned in #2429:

This event sucks. It just spawns a bunch of random simplemobs which hit really hard, and are hard to kill. There's not even any loot, they just explode into gibs when killed (well, I guess that's loot if you're a cleaner slime, but otherwise, it's just a mess)

They aren't really fun for anyone. It's just griff NPCs being fortnited onto the station to ruin everyone's day, and there's practically nothing you can do to prevent or mitigate it.

And, apparently admins are against fully removing it, so let's just rebalance it so it doesn't fill medbay with bodies, because haha funny simplemob spawning on top of you that crits in ~5 hits.

balance: The NPCs from the Syndicate Shocktroops event now have much less health, deal less damage, and have very slightly longer attack cooldowns. This does not affect the NPCs in the space ruins and such, only the ones from the event.
fix: Syndicate Shocktroops will no longer spawn in stupid places like in the middle of a wall.
