Time to End Life As We Know It.

( For the better )

About The Pull Request

A small change to how chemicals that are used to make creatures such as Corgium, Life and Life (friendly) are made, effectivelly reducing their output in hopes of preventing further grief by bad actors and rule breakers of rule 1.

Also a tweak to make it so botanists can make corgi and fluffy creatures with plants for crew without effectivelly killing the server.

This change is done by increasing the ratio for the chem from 1:1:1 to an astounding 30:30:30 of each reagent, making it far harder to mob spam through traditional means. Not impossible mind you, but harder enough that it can be catched early on.

Why It's Good For The Game

Somewhat slows griefers down and allows botany to use Life (friendly) without causing massive server issues.

Possibly quite big of a reagent demand, but it can be easily adjusted should it be deemed so.

Changelog

🆑
balance: Vastly increased minimum chemical requirements for Life, Life (friendly) and Corgium

I take it the ratio of 30:30:30 would still only result in 1 unit of life then?

Yep, did not change the total outcome as i currently do not know a way to make it RNG based or any other methods.

Hmm, seems like this is probably good for a sanity check on local.

A coder at discord said this should fix it, here's hoping.

News: I Need More Time to Fix a Trait

Okay so, after testing, it seems the 30:30:30 change to it works, at least when we are talking about chems, effectively reducing the total creatures spawn from over 60+ to less than 1-5 depending on the skill of the producers and their setup.

On the other hand, there is an "exploit". The Gaseous Decomposition trait seems to not care how many reagents are inside, basically re-doing the chemical activation multiple times. It somehow got nerfed too, it now does half the amount of creatures it did before (counted by hand like a madman), but it's still not effective.

The trait will require some fixing before this PR is done. Will keep it as a draft until i manage to "fix" Gaseous Decomposition and in the process also fix it's scaling issue.
