V1.3.0
⚠️ ⚠️ Has breaking changes⚠️ ⚠️
With the new firmware update (JBL OneOs 3.0) JBL delivered in the beginning of December, some new functions where possible.
This is an attempt to integrate these functions.
What's Changed
- Adds devices for detachable rear speakers.
- If you don't have detachable rear speakers you will/should not have these.
- Adds smart mode toggle
- In a previous version of this integration it was already possible to toggle the smart mode. With this new toggle you are also able to read the status.
- Adds night mode toggle
- New in OneOs 3.0 is the Night Listening mode. "This feature allows you to enjoy a more focused and intimate audio environment that better suits your late-night or close-range listening needs.
- It mutes the soundbar and subwoofer to create a quiet environment. You have to detach your rear speakers and place them right before you.
- Adds expanded EQ
⚠️ Breaking change⚠️ - In OneOs 3.0 you have an extended EQ with 7 sliders that go from -12 to +12. In this new version you will have -6 to +6 (for bass it goes to -9) but the step change from 1 to 0.5. This means you effectively you have the same amount of control. For legacy reasons I stayed with -6 to +6.
- This is breaking because your old EQ doesn't get supported anymore.
- If you still have the old firmware than the old EQ should still work for you.
- Rename smart button to moment
⚠️ Breaking change⚠️ - In the last version there were two smart buttons. One for the smart mode and one that was called smart. The first one was the correct one that toggles the smart mode. The last one starts the moment that you can configure through the JBL app. For this reason this button has been renamed.
Thanks to the following people for being willing to test this version and providing me with feedback.
