Let's bump the ENERGY STAR version in all the real/sample files. I think that's done here and here.

Then we should compare the new ERI Targets to the previous version and make sure they make sense.

Need to see if there are updated EPA tests for 3.3/1.3.

Looked at changes in the ERI score of Real Homes' ES Reference Home due to updates to ES SFNC v3.3 and MFNC v1.3. I examined two extreme cases (house015 and house077).

house015.xml 46.41 48.43 SF 5 ceiling ufactor 0.024 -> 0.026; windows ufactor 0.27->0.25; HSPF 9.2->9.5; air defect ratio -20% -> -7.5%; dishwasher 270 -> 240 kWh/yr; refrigerator 450 -> 655 kWh/yr
house077.xml 55.89 44.08 MF 6 Lighting Tier I -> Tier II; Dishwasher 270 -> 240 kWh/yr; Water Heating UEF 1.49 -> 2.5; Ventilation fan exhaust only 2.8 cfm/W -> HRV 1.2 cfm/W; airflow defect ratio -20% -> -7.5%; windows ufactor 0.27 -> 0.25; Infiltration 0.3 -> 0.27 cfm50/sqft

EPA reported that National v3.3 results in an ERI between 45 - 50 for ~70% of homes that were modeled.
Among our real home models (SF only), 51% fell within 45 - 50 range. The ERI range of the real home models is 42.5 - 58.7.

ERI Range EPA % of Homes Modeled NREL % of Homes Modeled (real_homes)
<45 6% 7%
45 to <50 69% 43%
50 to <55 24% 41%
≥55 0% 9%
