Azazel

Azazel is a fallen angel that runs a shop in the center area of the map. This is a major new feature. This issue contains baseline functionality.

Unlike the regular shop, Azazel does not trade in gold. Instead all items in his shop are only available for purchase via cores.

The Birstlebacks location is where he is situated on the map. At this shop players can exchange cores for items or buffs. Players can’t buy or upgrade regular items here and they don't have access to their stash. Non-Azazel items also can't be sold here.

Baseline functionality

• This shop detects cores anywhere in your inventory or stash and uses them for purchase. This can't be done via access to the stash.
• After an item is purchased it can be sold for 15 seconds. During these 15 seconds the players are refunded the cores.

Trading Items

Players may go to Azazel and trade one of their items for another item of the same level. This costs one core of the same level as the item -1 or higher.

Example:

• A player has a Heart 3. They may use a tier 2 upgrade core to exchange this item for any other tier 3 item, like an Aghanims 3 or a Skadi 3. Instead of using a tier 2 upgrade core they can also use a tier 3 or tier 4 instead.
• A player has a Magic Wand 5. They may use a tier 4 upgrade core to exchange this item for any other tier 5 item, like a Heart Transplant 5 or Octarine Core 5. In this case only an upgrade core 4 may be used for the exchange.

This feature requires a specific interface. When you open the shop you gain access to an item exchange button, where this exchange may take place.
