Issue 7 of volume 1

This release includes page breaks validated against the facsimile of the first edition and corresponding bibliographic metadata for issue 7 of volume 1.

Issues 3 to 6 of volume 1

This release includes validated page breaks for issues 3 to 6 of the first volume of al-Muqtabas. All bibliographic metadata has been updated accordingly. In addition, we have included minor design updates to the TEI Boilerplate.

Digital edition

This release of al-Muqtabas includes the following files:

• TEI files for all eleven issues (including one double issue) of volume 4
• Bibliographic metadata for volume 4

Volume five of Digital Muqtabas

Second release of al-Muqtabas including:

• TEI files for all twelve issues of volume 5
• Bibliographic metadata for volume 5

There were also some changes to XSLT stylesheets and the folder structure of the TEI and MODS boilerplates.

v 0.1 First release of a volume (six) of digital muqtabas

This is the first release promised for much earlier this year. Due to private affairs I could not complete work on this release earlier.

This release includes the following:

• TEI files of all twelve issues of the six volume of al-Muqtabas with tructural mark-up of mastheads, sections, articles, and with page breaks linked to the facsimiles;
• MODS and BibTeX files for all issues, sections, and articles;
• Copies of TEI schema files from OpenAraPE_ODD;
• A local installation of the TEI Boilerplate for Arabic editions;
• all XSLT stylesheets necessary for various transformations from sources (shamela) and to other formats (md), for generating bibliographic metadata (MODS, BibTeX), for improving mark-up, linking page breaks to facsimiles, etc.

Thanks to the efforts of CERN's Zenodo platform we even got a DOI!
