Server Hosting Service

If you plan on choosing a hosting service I recommend purchasing from Kinetic Hosting as my experience with them has been great so far. The server panel is not confusing and self-explanatory from a visual standpoint.

Self Hosting

If you're looking for how to set up a server on a Windows system, simply download the Server Pack and double click the absinthe-xx.bat or Universalator-xx.bat file to run the server. Everything has already been pre-configured, but you should still configure JVM args for memory allocated depending on how many players are actively playing.

As for port forwarding, you can just use playit.gg which is an open-source tunneling program.

If you already know what you are doing when setting up a server, then do as you please.

Discord Server Chat Bridge

The preferred Discord chat bridge mod for all Project Vyre modpacks is Simple Discord Link Bot by hypherionsa. Visit the Simple Discord Link Wiki for more information.
