This is the prototype version of the RDFBones ontology for osteological data from anthropological investigations as developed in the project Human Skeletal Collections, funded by the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft, DFG). Its applicability has been documented in a proof-of-concept implementation by the same project using the VIVO framework.

Please note that with the current version, you need to load the VIVO ontology (vivo.owl) in addition to the files in this repository in order to obtain a fully working version of the RDFBones ontology.
