Clone the repository:

Create a
.env.local
file: Create a.env.local
file in the root of your project directory. Add the following environment variables to configure Clerk authentication:NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=YOUR_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY CLERK_SECRET_KEY=YOUR_CLERK_SECRET_KEY
Replace
YOUR_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY
andYOUR_CLERK_SECRET_KEY
with your Clerk publishable key and secret key, which you can obtain by signing up for Clerk at clerk.dev. -
Install dependencies:
npm install

Run the development server:
npm run dev
Your Next.js application with Clerk user authentication is now running locally at
http://localhost:3000
.
