Hi there 👋

About Me

🌱 My name is Tomás Sulima Lyczkowski, a fifth-year Electrical Engineering student at the University of Chile. I am currently specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. I have a keen interest in crypto technology, data science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, innovation projects, and investment.

My main strengths are machine learning, advanced image processing, data science, and electrical engineering.

Working Experience

ALeRCE Astronomy Broker

🌟 During my first professional internship, I developed a preliminary step in the ALeRCE pipeline to incorporate DELIGHT into its operation. This step improved the pipeline's ability to process astronomical alerts more efficiently.

Convolutional ResNet Networks Project

This project aimed to test different network architectures to address the gradient vanishing problem.

  • Stochastic Networks
  • Densely Connected Networks

Deliryum

📝 During my second professional internship, I worked with the Deliryum team, focusing on backend development for artificial intelligence applied to image processing in the port industry. My work involved machine learning for risk prevention, mining granulometric analysis, and other AI-driven solutions.

ImpulsaDIE

💪 I am currently part of the ImpulsaDIE team, a multidisciplinary group from the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Chile. Our goal is to drive innovation projects and provide students with academic spaces and opportunities to develop innovation and entrepreneurship projects.

Thesis Work

I am currently developing my thesis project, focusing on the implementation of a classification model for early outlier detection within ALeRCE, using a multimodal approach.

Skills

I excel in fast learning, effective problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, organization, and efficiency.
