- Tharaka Manawardhana
Tharaka is a principal software engineer at Infomedia. He holds over 18 years of Software Development and 9 years in technical leadership and architecture roles. He has experience in Java and JVM languages and has worked in various domains including IoT, education, and retail. His current focus is data engineering. His interests include distributed systems, immutable architectures, data-oriented design, event-sourcing and functional programming.

Representing and querying hierarchical data in Apache Spark using GraphFrames and motif finding.
- Elena O'Keeffe
Elena got into IT through an interest in analysing experimental data while working in an analytical laboratory. She recently made the move from Data Analyst to Software Engineer. At the moment she mostly does backend work in Java with some crossover into data engineering.
