Through https://forge.typo3.org/issues/102239 I noticed that flexforms are an edge-case that could be clarified here. Open to feedback for changing the wording on it. :-)

Yes, that would totally help. I haven't checked yet where in the FlexForm page that would be good. I can think on it tomorrow, or you go ahead if you like :-D |

Follow-up on TYPO3-Documentation/TYPO3CMS-Reference-TSconfig#391 to also document at the "other end" how to access flexform defaults. @todo: I don't know if I linked to the `TCAdefaults` section properly, I don't really understand how/where to fetch external :ref: lookups. Releases: main, 12.4, 11.5
