Agenda

• Amazing race sign-ups (check Events for details, need to RSVP by this Wed 12pm)
  • May, Ezekiel, Daniella - nuts, egg, seafood, dairy, kiwifruit, eggplant, Henry, Charles, Yutaka, Alexis, Jos
• Go around and talk about work we managed to get done and/or any troubles we're having
• Design showcase (might be part of the above point)
• New issues!!!! #24 to #27 + quick refining and storypointing
• Folder structure and how to make components
• Deleting branches from the last meeting where we tested making PRs
• Linking PRs to issues so that they close automatically

Takeaways

• Daniella - send the Volunteers logo eventually (May to give instructions on how)
• We use React icons for now
• Git practices --> after approval, it is author's responsible to press Merge
• May to write up folder structure/convention for making / styling new components
• May to change fontfamily for everyone so its consolidated
• Jerry cannot make next meeting due to test
• In person meeting next week 5pm

• Check in how everyone's been finding learning the MERN stack (videos)

• Daniella shares some designs :))
• We've gotten more info on what the client wants -- we'll go through this
• Talk about deployment
• If we have time: practice using git, making PRs, merging
• Developers get a story to work on for the sprint
• First milestone coming up in about a month (6 - 13 May ish)
• Project Exec Dhruv will be catching up with each of you individually throughout the project
