Install docker
and docker-compose
on your RPi to start building containers
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
curl -sSL https://get.docker.com | sh
# Add users to the Docker group (ex. pi)
sudo usermod -aG docker pi
# Add permissions for the current user
sudo usermod -aG docker ${USER}
# Check
groups ${USER}
sudo apt-get install docker-compose plugin
sudo systemctl enable docker
docker run hello-world
Navigate to project root directory which contains the docker-compose.yml
file
docker compose up -d
# Pull the latest images
docker compose pull
# Stop running containers
docker compose stop
# Remove stopped containers
docker compose rm -f
# Rebuild containers with updated images
docker compose up -d --build
