Release v8.0.0 to adopt Rubocop's plugin system. See #212 – thanks @koic !
It's possible this doesn't need to be a major release due to the fact that likely many of these changes are backwards compatible, but I haven't done a thorough analysis of breaking changes in the available cops, and at the very least we now have a major version bump for the minimum allowed version of
rubocop-rspecfrom the 2.x to 3.x branch.
