TODO:

  • Flip default for localePrefix to always?
  • Since we have localePrefix: 'always' by default, we can simplify the middleware matcher
  • Streamlining of navigation APIs? (see RFC: Localization of pathnames and streamlining of navigation APIs #402)
  • Check for "TODO: "
  • Update docs to be RSC-first
    • Changing localePrefix should mention other matcher
    • Fix "// Match all pathnames without ."
    • Markup mismatches should be gone
    • Are defaults for NextIntlClientProvider properly documented?
    • Move configuration to usage guide? The "global" config doesn't apply to middleware and navigation
  • Update bug report templates
