2. branching in git

If multiple people work on a project, it's adviced to work in a branch. After the branch is merged into main,
this branch can be deleted. If you want to re-use that name, it needs to be merged from main again.
An example:

1. Make a branch for testing: "git checkout -b test1"
2. Editing and testing done in this branch. When done, the main branch can merge this in the next step.
3. Merge from the main branch: "git checkout main; git merge origin/test1"
4. Run the pipeline with this merged set. confirm it's ok.
5. In theory the test1 branch can be deleted.
6. If work in test1 continues, it needs a merge from main: "git checkout test1; git merge origin/main"
7. If that merging is confusing , just start a new branch, say test2.

3. setting up your own YEAR file in lmtoy_run so you only see the projects you want to see, not all stuff back to 2018....

4. the viewing URLs will be helpdesk specific
