<h2>Dive Deeper into Literature</h2>
<p>Diving deep into literature has its own glee and joy. Taking out an imaginary magnifying glass and pouring
through the pages and the words of a text is a lot like looking for treasure!</p>
<p>Literature is a conversation. All art is. All art is merely translations. One mind to another. When writers write
a story, poem, play, essay, or anything, they are putting down something that is to be translated. We may speak
the same languages, some of us, but these languages are just tools, shapes, and faceless jigsaw pieces that
don’t have intrinsic meaning until bestowed upon them. Only until we have sorted through them with our own mind
can meaning and expression be fulfilled. </p>

<p><strong>Moby-Dick; or, The Whale</strong> is an 1851 epic <mark>novel</mark> by American writer <em>Herman Melville</em> The book is centered on the sailor Ishmael's narrative of the maniacal quest of Ahab, captain of the whaling ship Pequod, for vengeance against Moby Dick, the giant white sperm whale that bit off his leg on the ship's previous voyage. A contribution to the literature of the American Renaissance, Moby-Dick was published to mixed reviews, was a commercial failure, and was out of print at the time of the author's death in 1891. Its reputation as a Great American Novel was established only in the 20th century, after the 1919 centennial of its author's birth. William Faulkner said he wished he had written the book himself,[1] and D. H. Lawrence called it "one of the strangest and most wonderful books in the world" and "the greatest book of the sea ever written</p>

<p><strong>Pride and Prejudice,</strong> romantic novel by <em>Jane Austen,</em> published anonymously in three
volumes in 1813. A classic of English literature, written with incisive wit and superb character delineation, it
centers on the burgeoning relationship between Elizabeth Bennet, the daughter of a country gentleman, and
Fitzwilliam Darcy, a rich aristocratic landowner. Upon publication, Pride and Prejudice was well received by
critics and readers. The first edition sold out within the first year, and it never went out of print.</p>
<h2>Characters</h2>
<p>Pride and Prejudice is set in rural England at the turn of the 19th century, and it follows the Bennet family,
which includes five very different sisters. The eldest, Jane, is sweet-tempered and modest. She is her sister
Elizabeth’s confidant and friend. Elizabeth, the heroine of the novel, is intelligent and high-spirited. She
shares her father’s distaste for the conventional views of society as to the importance of wealth and rank. The
third daughter, Mary, is plain, bookish, and pompous, while Lydia and Kitty, the two youngest, are flighty and
immature.</p>
