# Frequently Asked Questions

# Why don't you support Cracked Minecraft Accounts?
Our server refuses to accept and support connections from cracked Minecraft accounts, grounded in both legal and biblical principles.

From a legal standpoint, the use of cracked versions constitutes theft and piracy, violating the Eighth Commandment's directive against stealing (Exodus 20:15).

Embracing legitimate Minecraft accounts aligns with Christian values of integrity, righteousness, and responsible stewardship, as emphasized in biblical passages such as Proverbs 10:9 and various teachings on fair compensation, such as 1 Corinthians 9:9.

Moreover, our commitment to creating a safe and secure gaming environment reflects biblical teachings on obedience to authority (Romans 13:1-2). By complying with Mojang's policies and community guidelines, we demonstrate a respect for the governing authorities in both the gaming world and our faith.

Inclusivity and fairness, as outlined in James 2:1-4, further guide our policy, ensuring that all players are treated equally and contributing to a positive and upright gaming community. Through these principles, our Christian Minecraft server strives to foster an environment that honors both the letter of the law and the spirit of Christian teachings.

# Why is the Nether not disabled, isn't it just Hell?
Our server upholds the inclusion of the Nether, recognizing its significance in fostering creativity, challenges, and community interaction within the game. Drawing inspiration from biblical principles of stewardship and dominion over resources, we believe that the Nether contributes to the diverse and imaginative aspects of Minecraft gameplay.

By maintaining this dimension, players have the opportunity to explore, collaborate, and overcome challenges, aligning with the biblical encouragement to be a light to the world and engage positively with others (Matthew 5:14-16).

Disabling the Nether would not only compromise the core essence of Minecraft's gameplay. Our commitment to preserving the Nether reflects our dedication to creating a dynamic and enriching gaming experience that harmonizes with both Christian values and the fundamental principles of Minecraft.

# I found a bug! How should I report it?

In the realm of software, bugs can be categorized into two types: those of minor consequence and those with the potential to cause significant harm if made public or exploited by malicious actors.

## Reporting Serious Bugs
If you suspect that you've stumbled upon a harmful or dangerous bug, we urge you to take immediate action:

* **Contact a Staff Member Privately:** Reach out to one of our Staff Members through private channels to report the issue discreetly. This ensures that sensitive information is handled with care.

* **Email Us:** You can also send us an email at [email protected] to report the bug. This method allows you to provide detailed information, which is especially important when dealing with potentially serious issues.

## Documenting Less Critical Bugs

:::info

Reports are to be made to the Issue tracker: https://github.com/craftingforchrist/Issues

:::

For bugs that are less severe and do not present immediate risks, we encourage you to contribute to our bug-tracking efforts:

* **Check the GitHub Bugs Repository:** Before documenting your bug, please check our current GitHub Bugs repository. It's possible that the issue you've encountered has already been documented by another user.

* **Document the Bug:** If your bug is not already listed, you are welcome to document it in our GitHub Bugs repository. Your contribution helps us improve our services and ensures that issues are addressed promptly.

Your vigilance and collaboration in reporting and documenting bugs are invaluable in maintaining the quality and security of our platform. Thank you for your dedication to making Crafting for Christ a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

# I'm having issues connecting!

If you're experiencing issues connecting to the Crafting for Christ Minecraft servers, don't worry! Here are some simple troubleshooting steps to help you get back in the game:

# 1. Verify the Server IP
Ensure that you are using the correct server IP address: play.craftingforchrist.net. Typos can happen to anyone, so double-check your input to make sure it matches exactly. Check https://craftingforchrist.net/play to make sure it is correct.

# 2. Check Your Internet Connection
Make sure your internet connection is stable. You can test this by trying to visit other websites in your web browser. Sometimes, parental controls or network restrictions can block access to specific applications, including Minecraft.

# 3. Server Status
Occasionally, Minecraft logins may experience downtime, or our servers might be undergoing maintenance or experiencing technical issues. To stay informed, check our Discord server for updates. Additionally, you can verify if Minecraft itself is having any issues by visiting Mojang's official Twitter account.

# 4. Possible Ban or IP Block
If you find that you cannot connect, it's possible that you may have been banned from the server, or your IP address could be blocked for some reason. This can happen for various reasons, such as associating your IP with a set of bot accounts that we were trying to block. To resolve this, reach out to a Staff Member who will investigate the issue and provide assistance if necessary.

# 5. Seek Assistance
Don't hesitate to ask for help if you're still experiencing issues. You can reach out to a Staff Member in our Discord server, or you can email us at [email protected]. Our team is here to assist you and ensure you have a smooth and enjoyable Minecraft experience.

Remember, technical issues can happen to anyone, and our team is committed to helping you get back into the game as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and dedication to Crafting for Christ Minecraft servers!
