Update the theme used by all of your applications with a single command. Each application has its own update theme script, so adding support for additional applications, or making it work with your bizarre configuration is as easy as writing/updating a simple script.
theme
looks for your configuration file in the following locations:
- $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/theme/config
- ~/.config/theme/conifg
Use the default
keyword to set your default theme in your config file.
$ default my-default-theme
Use the alternate
keyword to set your alternate theme in your config
file.
$ default my-default-theme
Call theme
with no parameters to enable your default theme.
Subsequent calls to theme
with no parameters will alternate between
your alternate and default themes.
To activate a specific theme, pass that theme name as a parameter:
$ theme my-specific-theme
Themes are located in the themes
directory. Each theme has
sub-directories corresponding to various applications.
themes └── gruvbox ├── deepin-terminal ├── iterm2 ├── konsole ├── mintty ├── osx-terminal └── ...
The naming conventions and structure of theme files are unique to each application.
Theme activation scripts for each application are located in the
scripts
directory. These scripts expect two parameters, the name of
theme to activate, and an optional variant, i.e. light, dark, etc.
Each script contains the commands needed to activate a theme on its
application.
