iox-#1755 Use new log macros in all places

Notes for Reviewer

This is a cleanup PR which replaces the old log macros with the new ones in all places. Previously only hoofs and dust where using them.

I did not touch the release notes since this is merely an internal change. The removal of the old macros is already documented in the release notes.
