This project is to be the app I always wanted to rsync my files. I'm very paranoid with all my files, so I use to set up backups all across the place for my stuff. The one thing I learned is that I don't trust me, because I can mess it up sometimes, like trying to backing up my digital pictures and ending up saving the thumbnails and loosing the originals.
This was not designed to help you, it was created to protect me from myself.
At the moment I have absolutely no idea of how I'll distribute this application, so:
- Windows users might just unzip it in your applications folder and run it from there.
- Mac users will follow the very step-foward way of installing things.
- Linux users will have to make their own magic to compile/install this. I don't plan to support it in the near future, as in "providing methods for installation", other than trying to maintain the cross-platform nature of Qt.
Binary versions will be provided for Windows and Mac users. Linux will also be supported in the future (as I'm a 3 operating systems user).
