Both Garden and Citadel reached EOL recently, so I'm not sure if we should remove documentation about them just yet to give folks time to transition. I don't know how long we should wait, maybe 1 year? |

After offline conversation, I see that
This table includes all currently supported versions of ROS and Gazebo. All
other ROS and Gazebo releases are end of life and we do not recommend their
continued use.
So it makes sense to remove releases we no longer recommend.

I've clean up the install instructions a bit taking advantage of the last cycle of EOL distributions in Gazebo (Citadel and Garden) and ROS 2 (Iron and Foxy). I've left Citadel still in place for the ROS 1 references until Noetic reaches EOL in May.
