I'm using an old condom machine for the vending part. It accepts two 1 Euro coins and cannot handle returns. It is a pretty robust machine and can be installed outdoors without any trouble. This is how I set it up at the MRMCD 2013 (and yes, it was raining):

If you open the vending machine, you can see the slide for the bitcoin packets right in the middle. To the right, the coin acceptor and its slide is visible:
The slide is a really solid part. I needed to re-adjust it to make enough space for the packets I use:
Here you can see it earlier when I cleaned the machine. After an estimated 30 years of duty, it was (still is) a little bit dirty:
In order to be able to mount it quickly to poles/trees, I created a little adaptor from plywood. The screw attaches to the back of the vending machine, while the slots accept cable ties (or something similar). It is very fast to set up:
Finally, this is how the Coupon looks like. It has instructions in both German and English. If you've read until here, you earned yourself something: This is actually a live code. The first to enter it will claim some BTC.
