Gramex insight components are actionable analytical components.

Typical analytical tools, like summaries in EDA or forecasting in predictive analysis, explain data better. But it’s not clear what to do with a summary or a forecast. An analytical component is visibly aligned to an action.

Insight components are meant for analysts (in and outside Gramener) to solve for known problems, driving directly to action. For example:

  • What’s unusual about my data?
  • Where is my biggest problem? Insight trees and drilldown treemaps find which segments are the biggest problem area.
  • How can I improve performance most? Group means determines the biggest driver to improve your KPI
  • How can I meaningfully group them? Cluster helps you interpret your segments and serve them meaningfully

Notes:

  • Insight components are embeddable. Apart from Jupyter, this could be embeddable in BI tools and Excel as plugins, and on web apps.
  • Insight components are exportable into Excel and BI tools
