Whitelist updates (#406)

* Update readme by making it easier for new users to contribute who are not so familiar with Git

* Add more notes on git push command

* Bunch of changes to enhance whitelist readability

* Revert "Update readme by making it easier for new users to contribute who are not so familiar with Git"

This reverts commit c701005.
