The names were confusing, and they still kindof are. At the very least, there's no more shadowing going on in the websocket module.

Cherry-pick some build fixes from #1, provided by @andreas. Finish the port over to
bigstringaf, which was previously difficult to do due to unrelated build errors. Add a lower-bound onbase64and perform the appropriate renames. Finally, fix OPAM linting errors.
