oSCR "open" spatial capture recapture

oSCR stands for "open" spatial capture-recapture. The intent was to provide a an analysis platform for spatial capture-recapture data written completely in the R language so that users can read the code and see exactly what's going on and also make modifications to it relatively easily. A second objective was to implement models for non-Euclidean distance (Royle et al. 2012; Sutherland et al. 2014). Thirdly, we needed a likelihood framework that could handle extremely large data sets. While oSCR is not extremely fast, it has proved to be very robust to handling large data sets.
