• R Markdown provides an authoring framework for data science. R Markdown documents are fully reproducible and support dozens of static and dynamic output formats
• R Notebooks are new feature of RStudio, and are currently available only in the RStudio Preview Release. An R Notebook is an R Markdown document with chunks that can be executed independently and interactively, with output visible immediately beneath the input.
