I am finishing up my Data Science Course at Lambda School. It has been just over 1 year since I started and I can see the finish line. My dream job is to work as a Data Engineer at a company that helps to improve the lives of others. I love solving problems, working with data, and coding.
I have spent the last 13 years as a stay at home mom, but I still did some work on the side while taking care of my children and the household. I owned my own business where I made and sold handmade jewelry. I self-taught myself to build and maintain the website for my business and ran all aspects of the business on my own. I also had a store front at a local flea market on the weekends. I did not have much help because my husband was away from home a lot, so I learned time-management skills and how to mulit-task well.
