Assuming you've got your files selected, let's see how to get them resized.

In their original folder

To resize your pictures and have the new ones put in the same folder as the original, right-click on any of the selected files and choose Resize pictures.

After doing so, the following dialog box will appear.

Pick one of the default sizes, or enter your own by selecting custom and entering the the width and height values you would like your resized pictures to have.

If Only shrink pictures is selected, any of your pictures that are smaller than the selected size will not be resized.

You can also choose to Replace the originals, in which case the resized pictures will be saved over the originals. Don't fret though, 'cause the originals actually just got put in the Recycle Bin so .

To a different folder

To resize your pictures and have the new ones put in a specific folder, right-click and hold on them and drag them into the destination folder. Choose Resize pictures here on the menu that comes up when you let go of the right mouse button.
