ServiceCatalographer provides a Web-based catalogue for describing, annotating, searching and monitoring REST and SOAP Web services. Typically, service providers and institutions use it to curate and publicise their Web services. Scientists use its powerful search capabilities for locating the services they need to help them with their scientific research and work. ServiceCatalographer can also monitor availability and reliability of services over time to provide users with suggestions as to which services are the most reliable. Note that ServiceCatalographer is domain-agnostic - you can catalogue services from any domain - it does not have to be scientific.
ServiceCatalographer was developed using Ruby 1.9.3 and Rails 3.2.
ServiceCatalographer is based on the software originally developed as part of the BioCatalogue project (http://www.biocatalogue.org), which provides a curated catalogue of life science Web services.
