1 Sign Up

Welcome to use Group 4 MyCloudwear services! MyCloudwear matching was developed by BJTU Group 4, a group project of Beijing Jiaotong University. By using the software for the first time, you need to sign up for a new account of your own to use the various services we offer.

Every time you open MyCloudwear, the software will automatically display the login page. Click the Create an account button to switch to the user registration page.

In this page, you need to register a new account with your mobile phone number:

  1. Firstly, click to select the region of your mobile phone number and enter your mobile number.
  2. Click the Send button, wait for a while, accept the SMS verification code we sent, and fill it into the corresponding text box.
  3. Click the Next button for further action.
  4. In this page, you can browse our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Once clicking the Next button, you agree to all policies and terms.

In this page, you can set (or reset) your own password:

  1. Enter the password you want in the Password text field. What is important is that the password must be between 8 and 16 characters long and must contain at least one special character.
  2. Next, enter your password repeatedly in the Confirm text field. Note that the two passwords must remain the same.
  3. Then, enter the verification code in the correspondent text field near the verification image. If the verification code displayed is not clear enough, click the picture to switch another verification code.
  4. After confirming that all operations are completed, and all information you have filled in is correct, click the Next button so the application will automatically complete the registration process and switch to the home page of the application.

2 Sign In

Every time open the app, the app will switch to this login page for you to log in.

  1. First, you should choose your country or region code of your location at Phone Number text field, and then enter your phone number at the same field.
  2. Enter your password into the Password text field. You can click the Privacy button on the right to choose whether to enter the password implicitly or explicitly.
  3. You can click the Remember Me button to remember the account and password to make login more convenient.
  4. After completing the above operations, click the Sign In. If the account and the password are confirmed correctly, the app will automatically switch to the home page.

2.1 Forget Password?

If you forget your password of your account, you can click the Forget Password? button at the page of registration to reset your password, the following up operation can be referred to 5.1.4 Change Password for the details.

3 Homepage

Homepage is the core page of our app, from which you can use most of our services and perform major interactions.

MyCloudwear provides 3 buttons for you to switch among pages in the :

  • Home
  • Photos
  • Me

3.1 Weather checking

Since the weather condition is one of the key factors that affect our matching result, MyCloudwear can automatically check it or you can check manually by clicking the Cloud button on the top left of the homepage. However, the result is for reference only because the data provider cannot ensure a 100% accuracy.

3.2 System messages checking

MyCloudwear may push messages from the background in certain conditions. You can also check the messages by clicking the Bell button on the top right of the homepage anytime you want. A notice sign will be shown on the button when new message coming. This sign will automatically disappear after you have checked the message.

3.3 Matching result checking

Normally, MyCloudwear will generate 3 matching results every time it launches. You can also switch among different results by clicking the Left or the Right button. If you prefer one of the results, you can just click the Like button, which will improve the quality of our matching according to your personal preference. However, you may click the Dislike button if you Dislike one of the results, which helps to enhance the matching contents as well. Meanwhile, you can pull down the image on the homepage to start the matching process anytime you like. Results will be shown, soon after our server sends back the data.

4 Photo Management

Photo Managementis also one of our core functions. At this page, you can update you clothes images in your albums and enrich your choices continually.

At this page, we devide your choices into three categories.

  • Tops
  • Pants
  • Skirts

When you add new clothes, you should add your clothes into the right category so that we can analyze and match your clothing correctly.

4.1 Upload Images

Click the category which you want to upload, the application will switch to the specific album and display images what you have added to the album. Meanwhile, you can also click the Camera button to upload the new clothes to the album.

  1. Choose from Album: You can upload your existing images from your system album. This operation supports your do the multi-photoes upload.

  1. Camera: You also can upload the new image from the application camera, After taking the photo, we also provide you with edit opertion, you can also edit the clothes images to the suitable size and then upload to the album.

Attention: We recommend that you please take the images in a place with ufficient illumination and clean background as far as possible in order to ensure the correctness and accuracy of clothing matching.

4.2 Delete Images

If you dislike one of the images, or you do not want this image to appear again in the matching result, you can choose delete this image from the album. You can long press the image which you do not want any more, and then choose OK at the following dialog, this image will be deleted from your album forever. However, if you do not want to delete this image, you also cam choose Cancel at the dialog, the delete opertion will be canceled.

5 Me

On the Me page, you can make changes to all of your personal information and system settings in detail.

We divided it into the following sections:

  • Personal Information
  • Profile
  • General
  • Help & Feedback
  • About
  • Log Out

We will explain these in more details next.

5.1 Personal Information

In this page, we mainly show you all the information about your account, and you can make changes to the relevant information.

As your ID that identifies your account, your mobile phone number cannot be modified in any circumstances.

a. Changing User Name

Although you cannot change your mobile number, you are free to modify your username.

Select the Change User Name button in the Personal Information, and in the pop-up page, you can modify your username in the text box. Once the changes are completed, click the Update button. Once username is updated successfully, the app will return to the Personal Information page. Attention: The username you upload must comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the country, otherwise, we will take bans on those who use the prohibited username.

b. Change Photo

You are free to modify your avatar to your favourite picture.

Select the Change Photo button in the Personal Information. And in the pop-up page, click the SELECT A PHOTO button, you can update your own avatar by Choose from Album or Camera. Once the selection is completed, the new avatar will be automatically saved and updated. Attention: The avatar you upload must comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the country, otherwise, we will take bans on those who use the banned avatar.

c. Change Password

You can choose the Change Password button in the Personal Information and modify your password in the pop-up page.

  1. Enter the password you want in the Password text field. What is important is that the password must be between 8 and 16 characters long and must contain at least one special character.
  2. Next, enter your password repeatedly in the Confirm text field. Note that the two passwords must remain the same.

  4. After confirming that all operations are completed, and all information you have filled in is correct, click the Next button so the application will automatically complete the registration process and switch to the home page of the application.

d. Delete Account

If you decide not to use your account anymore, you can choose to delete your account in oder to protect your privacy.

At the page of Personal Information and click the Delete Account button, please read the contents in the dialog carefully. If you still want to delete your account, please click OK button, your account will be completely removed from our servers. However, if you do not want to delete your account anymore, you can click Cancel button and cancel this opertion. Attention: Delete your account is a one-time operation and cannot be withdrawn, please consider it carefully.

5.2 Profile Setting

Your personal physical data is one of the important function of our matching, you can fill in your gender, height and weight and other physical data in this page. We will recommend the most suitable matching results according these data.

In this page, you can set your gender as Male, Female or Other. And then, you shoule fill your height(cm) and weight(kg) data, After that, we will generate your BMI Index according to the internation standard. We guarantee that the all personal data will be your privacy and we will not share it with anyone. After the fill in, please click the Updata button, your personal data will be saved and switch to the previous page.

5.3 General Setting

At the page, you can complete settings related to the application, and we divide it into the following parts:

a. Language Setting

When you at the General page, you can click the Language button, you can choose the System Language at the following dialog. We provide English and 简体中文 for you at present. We also provide more language choices in the future version updates in order to make your use more convenient.

2.5.4 Help & Feedback

You will learn how to use our application at the Help & Feedback page. Besides that, you can find our contact information and provide your advices to us. It is our honour to be able to listen to your voice.

a. Check All Questions

At the Help and Feedback page, we have prepared answers of two frequently asked question for you, they are:

  • How do I delete my MyCloudwear account?
  • How Do I manage the gallery?

You can click on the question which you want to know to see the details of the answer.

5.5 About

You can check details about MyCloudwear in the About pages, including:

You can click the What’s Fresh button in the About page to view our brief introduction about the function of MyCloudwear.

b. Version Update

You can check the newest version in the Version Update. You can also update the app here if there is a newer version available.

c. Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

If you want to learn more about this, you can click Terms of Service and Privacy Policy button here to see further details. If you have other questions, you can contact us according to information in 5.4 Help and Feedback.

5.6 Log Out

If you want to log out this account or switch to another account, you can click Log Out button at Me, the account will be logged out and switch to the page of Log in.
