This package.json is for contributors, where we want people to develop on node 23, and node 24 (once it is out in about 80 days) as well, so that we can iron out any issues on these new runtimes before we deprecate older versions of node.js.
If you are seeing any problems on node.js 23, please open an issue for that instead, so that we can fix it.
